Electrovaya has purchased the battery cell manufacturing equipment from a defunct cell manufacturing plant in Michigan.  They have been modifying the equipment to work with their process.  They are doing this under their R&D budget.  The last I heard they were looking for a building to set up production.  I am not clear if this is for an NMC cell or a solid state cell.  They have been talking up a solid state cell lately.  And your are right.  I think the reason things are progressing slowly is because of lack of funding.  They have recently purchased the IP for the seperator, so this may be part of it also?  I am looking for some announcements come June.
