Well, the only thing that is moving is ions from one side of the cell to the other.  When I think of a solid state cell, I think of one that looks like a credit card with many more charge cycles and greater energy density.  You do have a point, but I think the NMC cell is not classified as a soild state cell.  I have been wrong on many previous occasions though.
