They must be thinking big, ... BIGGER to even mention consolidation.
I believe LAC Lithium Americas did the consolidation and move to NYSE. Not sure I like this. I posted on Stockhouse the float will be too small for big boards and NO liquidity. if they don't move fast enough, the SP usually drifts lower.
5:1 would mean ~27mil shs - Das Gupta's ~10 mil = an accessible float of only ~17mil. Way too small for Funds and institutions. So they must have a plan to get that float back up to at least ~60 - 75shs
Plus, they need to be sure there's appetite for EFL on big board. I have a company QTRH (Wilan) that did exactly that but the interest from Americans for a Canadian company never materilized. Mind you they're an IP monetization company suing all the big boys for patent infringement. They cancelled their Nasdaq listing and are saving $500k to $1mil per yr in costs.
That's another point, they need to be making good money cause Naz isn't cheap for small company. And, there are more reporting requirements.
