I would agree that Electrovaya needs a second supply chain.  What was there initial contract for ? 3 years extendable for 2 more years?  And how long ago was that?  By building a second supply chain it does several things for Electrovaya.

1.  It gives them leverage over renewed contract negotiations in Taiwan.

2.  It increases the raw materials supply for increased production.

3.  It gives Electrovaya a measure of security for raw materials, expecially if that new supply chain is in NA, US.

Just my opinion.
