Our nemesis Nick has complained that Electrovaya has torn down and shipped out the pilot scale process in Mississuagua. That set me to thinking. I think that process has been automated in Ulm, Germany and is being used to test piolt scale operations and production costs, ect.
The BMBF intends, To continue to support R & D work at TerraE in battery technology and manufacturing technology as part of a successor project. This is currently being tested. In order to test battery cell production on an industrial scale, the BMBF is funding a research production facility at the ZSW in Ulm.

That could be where they are making the 50AH cell. At pilot scale they may be able to supply cells to BMZ for a while as BMZ ramps up. Since I believe that cell matches the Korean cells, they could use all that can be produced at pilot scale and the rest come from Korea. Just my thoughts again.
