The last thing the CEO wants to do is to sell out. This is not his style. Of course, everything has a price so there is always a possbility. With the amount they try to raise, their intention is to grow their business. They probably need more manufacture capacity with additional large orders, i.e. a new plant or buy an existing plant. Or if they think vertical integration, they might grab a business that is complement to them such as inverter. Who knows.
My take is that they will do several financings in the next 25 months. I am assumed that they are hoping that the share price at each subsequent financing round is higher than previous rounds if they produce decent quarterly financial along the way. That's why I see hockey stick growth in them and hope they manage this exponential growth properly.
