"I never have liked TESLA's million cell battery ! That size cell belongs in a flash light not a car."
Very true the tesla approach may have been due to availabile sources at the time ??
I am familiar with battery back-up for tele communication systems and for nuke emergency shut down systems power. We would use 116 cells in series for a 250VDC/1600amp. system...big!!! cells; there are some sound engineering reasons for the big cell choice.
Back to Tesla; I would hope/think they will do something "better" with the modular battery Musk has eluded to. Non NMP for a start would be great!
I would love to see EFL get more credit for their efforts to make a greener battery, all the ones used so far are very far from green.
