Message: Audi/Porsche challenge Tesla

Things that I found interesting in this article include the idea that Volkswagen (owner of both Audi and Porsche) is looking to compete with Tesla in the not-too-distant future, potentially helping to raise all boats in pursuit of the electric vehicle market, and; Tesla wanting to build recharging stations across Europe and NA.

In many ways, Germany is the perfect testing ground for an integrated EV infrastructure. They are not the sprawling urban landscape that NA is, and establishing an effective circuit of charging stations would not be nearly as demanding a task. They are also among the world leaders in 'green' renewables and their integration with the grid, so and may therefore have some of the necessary infrastructure already in place.

All to say that, if you are in the business of energy storage, Germany is a great place to situate yourself.....
