Tesla drop Panasonic, not a chance. Tesla needed Panasonic's financial commitment for this Gigafactory to get off the ground. As such, all of the permits including the use of Panasonic's NMP process are inplace. If this is not the case then the management teams at both Tesla and Panasonic have together made a monumental blunder by not having a contract already signed, which would put EFL or whomever in the financial driver's seat. Now that EFL has Litarion do we know for sure that they want to license out there trump card, instead of playing it themselves? And yes NMP free is the future, but with some Asian countries still the wild west or cesspool (whichever you prefer) with regards to the environment and the powers to be in N.A., Japan, Germany and others allowing these products in, well then the question is when?
