Could push EV, surprise by the number of tesla cars available in large Canadian city, see one at least once a week. Problem is that Tesla is rightly position, very nice and expensive car for happy few who can spend 100K without denting bank account, pure luxury brand as an expensive watch.

If can waste 100K on a car will like it :-(

On the opposite test a Nissan Leaf for one day, was excited as a kid to drive "electric" but at the end of the day was not considering to buy one at all, range is limited (forget heating in winter range go from 140 to 80 on dashboard), in eco mode it is a veal, and when compare with a modern car (winter tire) difference in noise is not that great. Acceleration in drive mode is impressive but try at the end to be sure to come back (with heating !).
