Daimler made a nice financial operation with Tesla !
Even AESC (Nissan Japanese supplier) is not able to match LG price for Li-Ion, this is the top contender now for EV battery.
I do not bet that Daimler will have commitment to buy from Electrovaya Kamenz if they deal with LG, but if they can succeed to expand their revenue stream mainly in storage and specialized large industrial batteries, still make sense to invest in Electrovaya.
Anyway, we all know that investment in small cap like Electrovaya are highly risky but sometimes rewards are quite good also ...
Think to those who buy at 0.1 and sell around 5, including Shankar who buy around 1/3 of company from co-founder Jim Jacobs at 6-7 cents/share (1.4M$). Even if he sold 1.5M shares at 1$ he get 1500% return and get the remaining 20 millions shares from Jacobs for free.
