Message: Raglan mine-Glencore Xtrata

I own stock in a few (juniors) mining companies, they are all talking about soaring costs. Initial cost on new green technology might be the deterent for these already cash strapped juniors, however, the larger operational mines with long life expectancies seems like a no brainer for sustainable energy. Enviromental impact is a huge factor when it comes to getting permits, the green energy should become something that is legislated instead of being optional. I cannot believe the idea of burning diesel fuel for electrical requirements in these mines has not been something that has been questioned by these highly educated operations executives that these mines employ. Why has this been so long coming? If it is such a great idea, and so cost effective, why has no one in the mining industry not implemented it already?
