Eagle Hill Exploration (TSXV:EAG) confirms new mineralized gold structure

Visitors can access all the Ubika Research reports on Eagle Hill Exploration Corp (TSX VENTURE: EAG) here.

Ubika Research has reports on over 25 interesting junior resource companies available at www.smallcappower.com. The Ubika Research “Resource Stock of the Week” series has outperformed the TSX Venture Index by 22% (as of Sept 1, 2010).

Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. (TSXV: EAG) announced yesterday the final assay results from its last 4 holes (Holes Holes EAG-10-237, 238, 239 and 240) from the Company’s 14 Hole summer drill program at the Windfall Lake Property. The best results from the last four drill holes include Hole EAG-10-240 with 17.36 g/t gold over 12.00 meters and in a separate intercept 2.07 g/t gold over 15.80 meters. Hole EAG-10-238 showed 14.63 g/t gold over 5.05 meters and 3.35 g/t gold over 24.60 meters.

The company confirmed the presence of continuous gold mineralization in Zone 27 over a strike length of at least 200 meters. Zone 27 is largely open up-dip and to the northeast. This has been the key focus of historical drilling at this property. Eagle Hill also focused on this zone to confirm the gold mineralization and test the structure. The drilling so far has provided strong evidence of gold continuity within this zone and has indicated strong mineralization. It has also helped the company to get a better understanding of the structure and for the first time to develop a 3D model of the gold structure at this property.

The results from the last 4 holes, as stated by the company, also confirm the presence of a new mineralized structure that is parallel to Zone 27 and also extends for a minimum strike length of 200 meters, at a vertical depth less than 60 meters. The new zone appears to be open in all directions.

Ubika Research considers this a significant development as it will potentially increase the likelihood for the company to find a bigger gold deposit than previously anticipated. The summer drilling program has helped the company to achieve its stated objective of developing a better understanding of the geological structure at the Windfall Lake Property and these results will help the company further in updating and strengthening the 3-D model of the property. This will facilitate a better understanding of the property’s gold deposits and will help in understanding the newly discovered mineralized structure and in determining other potential gold zones on the property. Eagle Hill has strong potential to explore and confirm a sizable resource estimate at the Windfall Lake Property and we believe that the drilling program currently underway will help in this respect.

The current focus of Eagle Hill is the Windfall Lake gold project near Val d'Or located in northern Quebec. The company acquired the Windfall Lake property from Noront Resources (TSX VENTURE: NOT).
