Message: Today's Market - Monday Holiday

Today, Dec 26, is a US and Canadian Market Holiday in observation of Christmas. Wednesday, Dec 27, is a Canadian Market Holiday in observation of today's Boxing Day.

On OTC - DROP technicals, as well as fundamentals, still show good long term upside. Barely showing a higher low close than the day's before open. Bullish, a questionable yes, but the "dark cloud candlestick - very Bearish - is weighing. OBV and RSI still showing dispersion while Stoch and Mac are Bearish. So, this is still Bearish short term. Probably shake out Bearish, so expect more downside in the short term, and would be a good sign if sp is flat.

S&P and Dow - Market should continue the Santa Claus rally through the end of the year. Volume will likely be low, but upside should continue. These Wall Street guys need their bonuses to be bonused. To learn where the Big Guys might be going, look for near to just under normal volume on Tuesday for stocks they favor, so they can record them as in their portfolios for this quarter. Then to pump up their portfolios, sp on their holdings should show upside through Friday. Middle east still showing turmoil, China still showing rusty armor, and Euroland has kicked the can down the road until around late May 2012.

The pharma sector is about the only sector that might be considered relatively strong at this time. Am liking black gold (oil) and thinking that inflation will bring oil and other commodities up. Dollar being strong right now is hiding this. China has been buying grain big time.
