Last week’s Quebec Exploration Conference had a great turnout, including the Premier of Quebec Jean Charest who spoke about the importance of the Plan Nord http://plannord.gouv.qc.ca/english/ an initiative which will lead to over $80 billion in investments over 25 years. Of the 11 projects currently underway, Donner/Xstrata’s Bracemac-McLeod Mine will be among the first in full production under the new Plan Nord.
