Main Uranium Targets to be Drilled on DIOS Hotish Project

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, May 27, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

DIOS EXPLORATION INC. (TSX VENTURE: DOS) has commissioned a major diamond drilling contract to test the main uranium targets during the 2008 summer exploration programme on its wholly-owned Hotish uranium property in the Otish Basin, Quebec, Canada. These targets were selected on the basis of specific geophysical (gammay-ray spectrometry (uranium/thorium, potassium/thorium) & magnetic compilation), geological-structural, and geochemical (lake sediments) criterias, mainly from detailed data gathered by DIOS in 2007. The 2008 summer programme will include a major field campaign, additional prospecting (with hand-spectrometers) on selected target-areas and an helicopter-borne diamond-drilling programme (totaling at least between 12 and 20 holes) on Rossing (large volume, low grade), Matoush and unconformity-type (high grade) uranium targets.

At least seven main target areas were previously defined (see March 5, 2008 press release) as follows:

The structural Matoush-type targets are: the Papawskasati River area, Tichegami-1&2 Anomalies, the Tichegami-4 and A-7 Anomalies, the F2 Anomaly, and the Memeshquasati Greenstone Belt. The magmatic Rossing-type targets are the Mantouchiche-West (C-1) and B-1 Anomalies. The unconformity-type targets are the Magyar North (A-4) and possibly the Tichegami-4 Anomalies.

The Hotish project is a large property encompassing several NTS map-sheets. The property comprises three main blocks covering 740 sq. kilometers: the Hotish East block, adjacent to the Strateco property; the Hotish main block, located on the western shallow edge of the Otish sedimentary basin, located directly west of a large Cameco property; and the southern Papaskwasati block, located at the northeastern end of the Papaskwasati sub-basin and over the Mantouchiche Arch, once linking the two sedimentary basins.

DIOS generates most of its exploration projects, from scientific conceptual design to field discovery and tries to evaluate from the start feasible economics in relation with access and facilities. Dios' strategy is to generate projects and develop them either alone or through farming out agreements, with the benefit of shareholders in mind.

Dios Exploration is listed on the Toronto Ventures Exchange and trades under the stock symbol DOS, and currently has 34 M shares outstanding.
