It's not a totally crazy question but I don't agree with your last sentence that Tony can't get us to the Super Bowl. He's been a victim of bad defenses and subpar backfields for much of his career.
If you want the proof take a look at some head to head stats with Eli (cough!) who has somehow won 2 SB's despite being nowhere near Tony's talent and stats:
==============
Since Romo took over as starter for the Cowboys in 2006, here are the comparables for both QBs:
Touchdowns – Manning: 264, Romo: 247
Interceptions – Manning: 199, Romo: 119
Completion Percentage – Manning: 60.3%, Romo: 61.4%
QB Rating – Manning: 83.5 (36th All-Time), Romo: 97.1 (3rd All-Time)
Win Percentage – Manning: 53.1%, Romo: 61.4%
===============
Bottom line - Romo is the guy and I want to see what he can do with this OLine, Dez and Zeke for the last 4 years of his career. He deserves the chance!
