If they are having problems, at least keep people updated via facebook, twitter, etc.
This goes to the professionalism of the company.....doesn't look good when the update almost everyday for three months(good) and then stop and don't have an update for two weeks because some rods get stuck in the hole.
Yes, it won't look good but some level of transparency is expected if company is to be taken seriously imo. They don't have to write a tome but at least outline the problem and keep people abreast of their remediation efforts.
