I am not a regular poster, in that I read a lot of forums, but post seldom. I have though today spent a good portion of my evening reading several forums, where discussion has mainly been about today's news release. A lot of this discussion is centered around the fact that everyone was waiting for assay results from the mother hole and since there is none (or at least nothing to indicate that there is some good ones ) then this indicates that this whole play is a bust. I sit back now and wonder at all the supposedly intelligent investors who will now sell at the open tomorrow and be glad they get out while they could.

What has changed since yesterday? We had no assays then. We knew that the mother hole didn't hit any visible gold. WE knew that the first daughter hole is aimed at hitting the Finn zone where they think it should be, but maybe 200m deeper than the deepest hit yet. We knew that we were at almost 2500m and should hit the finn zone at any time. We knew that it could take several daughter holes before we hit the big one. We knew that Goldcorp is on the scene and likes what they are seeing.

Maybe, possibly, could be, that there has been a lot of speculation about, and the SP has been on the move, and the TSX has called and asked what is happening. Possibly they decided that they had to say something to calm the market, and did so without really saying anything, which is what they did.

I know that if, as some say, there is a big dip tomorrow, I will fill my boots, and can do so knowing that everyone that sold should know better.
