Commodities starting to make a move upwards

With 2008 almost behind us, may the next year be a little more profitable.

I see that some of the commodities have gain a little ground.

Oil is 40 ish Dollars and Gold now seems to be trying to form somewhat of a base at $870.00 US funds.

With todays Cdn Dollars, it is above $1060.Cdn. and very close to an all time high.
