Refering to the Witwatersrand Formation in South Africa, the temperatures at 5,000' + are in excess of 100 degrees Farenheit. Those poor buggers working at these depths rotate 4 hour shifts it's so hot. Don't worry about the drills freezing. As for cash, I have been told by management it is "sufficient".
