Junex Inc. reported that it has entered into an agreement with a major U.S.-based independent gas producer regarding gas production capacity evaluation of certain Utica shale strata on four permit blocks (143,395 acres) located between Quebec City and Montreal and wholly owned by Junex.
The agreement provides that the partner may earn a working interest of 100% in the Becancour and Batiscan/Champlain permits, subject to a 5% gross overriding royalty interest, convertible to a 15% working interest
