One of the wells, Bécancour No. 8, was drilled on lands held by Junex Inc., a Quebec based
junior exploration firm, which confirmed late Tuesday afternoon it is Forest's
partner in the Utica shale program.

The other discovery well was drilled on the Yamaska property held by Gastem Inc.,
another Quebec junior. A third junior, Calgary-based Questerre Energy Corporation,
issued a press release to say it holds a 7.5% gross overriding royalty convertible into a
20% working interest in the Yamaska licences

I am also a skeptic about any information source, however when two

reporters say the same thing and the web link is listed on Junex's

web site then it has a good chance of being true. Becancour No.8 is

the first fracced gas well in Quebec. One horizontal fracced gas well

will be drilled on Junex's land and two one Gastem/Questerre's land

in 2008 (2 - Junex, 2 - Gastem/Questerre)
