Anyone can be a good Hub Leader. Occupational status (past or present) or education level neither helps, nor hinders, becoming a good hub leader. Being a good Hub leader is basically about being fair, equitable, and consistent with all Hub members. Setting aside stock sentiment and ignoring personalities can be difficult, but is necessary and can be done.

The intent of a stock hub is for the specific discussion of a particular stock. All opinion (that is, both pro and con) and information concerning specifically the stock, company, officers, and whatever else related to the company is fair game.

However, Agoracom Members are not fair game, and the reason there are the Six Agoracom Guidelines for Posting. My take is that the Guidelines are straightforward and simple, and should be followed. Without the Guidelines, the board becomes disrespectful, chaotic, and clogged with numerous posts that members must wade through to find relevant information.

Even though I feel strongly that the Guidelines should be followed, I note GT's Post seems to suggest allowances on the CRYFQ Main Board Hub. Hub Leaders can decide to throw out some, or even all, of the Guidelines.

It is obvious that Number Three, concerning off-topic posts, has long been a sticking point on the CRYFQ Hub. To be clear, I am not sold concerning off topic posts being allowed. It has proven to be a, "Can O' Worms," causing much confusion and trouble. However, some members have noted that they want to discuss other things, such as their situation caused by CRYFQ, the grandkids, or the weather.

The forum is for ALL members, not just Hub Leaders. In fact, when hub leaders post, they are posting as a member and are just as accountable for their post(s). Therefore, any and all posting rules agreed upon for the CRYFQ Hub should apply to ALL members and ALL Hub Leaders.
