no, for me they usually just say "look, we made a mistake, but with this much manpower expended, somebody has to go to jail"....and away goes CJR for the weekend to room with two other innocent brothers......

dont worry though, i get the top bunk.....not because i'm tougher than they are....i just have a good line of BS and the balls to hop up there....

then after a weekend of cold pancakes and apple sauce my lawyer says "look, i know you're innocent but here are your options. you can pay me a couple grand and we can get the charges dismissed, or, you can plead no contest, pay $150 fine and be done with it".....

in my early 20's, with no money.....which way do you think i went?

pisses me off to this day! on the other hand, i've also been cut a little slack over the years...

i think it's safe to say that most people who get caught for something probably committed the crime 100x before getting caught....but for that one poor bastard who gets nailed for something he did'nt do...ouch...
