Long Term Unemployment

Wow, the number of unemployed more than 27 weeks is almost off the chart, way over anything in the modern era (1948 on): http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/unemployment-october-1948-2009.JPG

This just doesn't sound like a recovery to me. Looks like lots more economic stimulus (i.e. cash handouts) and ultimate inflation on the way.
