believe it or not i'm on the "conservative" side of this issue....
1st- i've heard this rumor a few times and i have to think it's more scare tactics BS...i cant believe the NRA would'nt be screaming "unconstitutional" to high heaven if there was any truth to it....
2nd- if there is any truth to it.....it only strengthens the argument for NOT registering guns...another $50 per year per gun...
the main argument (from what i hear) for not registering a firearm is that: should one day the sh!t hit the fan (i.e. foreign invasion, crazy dictator takes over, you name it) everyone who had a registered weapon would be listed in one location, hence, confiscating weapons would be very easy for an entity that wanted to do so...
i know this sounds a little "paranoid"....but if you look at the history of many countries, it's happened before...
