An inane FYI on poison pills

A former member of the board claimed that PeopleSoft's poison pill was struck down in it's battle with Oracle.

That is totally wrong of course, as a Deleware court was scheduled to hear the motion by Oracle on the day (12/13/04) that the companies reached an agreed upon acquisition price and suspended all litigation.

My statement stands that no court in the US or Canada has yet struck down a valid and pre-existing poison pill provision like ours.
