Third large-scale blackout so far this year hits Venezuela

A new major blackout hit the main Venezuelan electricity transmission lines linking the Guri hydroelectric dam to the central and western states of the country at 10:40 a.m. on Sunday. The outage affected more than 15 Venezuelan states.
