sunday my wife said "i worry about you working with all those power tools when you are drinking"

so....in a rare instance of taking her advice....i switched to hand tools for detail work.....jabbed a carving knife under my thumbnail..

luckily, the alcohol numbed the pain...until yesterday...i now see why the asians used that bamboo under the fingernail torture technique......of course i didnt mention this to the wife

when she asked why my thumb was bandaged, i told her it was her fault...
