I agree that we're in for major earth changes for all of the reasons you mentioned Sasa. It may not necessarily be the "end of the world"...but the end of a 25,000 year cycle which will mark a profound change in the world as it has been. I've heard it's a real bitch when the magnetic pole shifts in one day :0(
