Message: Sanz Seems Eager to Work With Hecla (disregard previous typo)

So if Sanz was eager to get the miners back to work at Hecla a gringo company f all things, it means they are tipping their hand putting a premium on employment. Employment is very important to them. I seem to recall that employment would add another 8,000 jobs between KRY and GRZ.

On top of that, Sanz cannot expropriate KRY's and Grz' mining surveys which are worth upwards of $500 million. This is similar to intellectual property and I am assuming that is in some cyber vault someplace.

There is therefore an impass. Maybe that is why RM called it a stalemate. In order to get the employment and boost the local economy the mines need to be built but the mines are not yet built which means Hugs Chvez can't take them. Without the surveys nothing can be built and Vz does not have the surveys.

The only choice Vz has is to shut everything down and do nothing and piss off hundreds of thousands of starving VOTERS!!!!

Or some kind of negotiated outcome has to be hammered out.

The point is that KRY/GRZ are not without trump cards and judging from how quickly Sanz moved to open the mine again we know what they are afraid of.

Sanz was able to move on Hecla becasue there was a mine in place.

In the Kry/Grz scenario there is nothing there and thousands of starving miners. This is indeed an interesting gambit and we are not as screwed as we think.
