ok, mer's earnings are bad (not crushing but bad)...the one thing that bugs me is the one time $3bil adjustment for protection against bad debt???? sounds to me like they actually lost closer to $6bil...but hey, whats $3bil...throw in jobless claims today and cnbc will be screaming GOLDILOCKS ECONOMY...we'll see what the market does..
