CJR...sadly...I agree with you. From a macro point of view the handwriting has been on the wall. My college economics professors (74-78) were all teaching how the "deficit didn't matter". OK....put that down as the answer on the test and pass the bong. Fast forward to 2000-2008...and analyze the results of the deficit financing social experiment. To me, the results are clear. I recommend "The Dollar Crisis" by Richard Duncan. This book (2003\revised 2005) clearly illustrate how we got where we are and predicted current events before they occurred. Jim Sinclair, Jim Puplava, Bill Cara, Peter Schiff, Michael Panzner and many others understand where we are and how we got here. Unfortunately these voices are either shouted down as guests on 'Kudlow and Company" or relegated to financial blogs on the web. Yes...I think we're in for a big market air pocket. I was hoping we would have been permitted and I would have converted much of my KRY winnings into securely stored bullion\coins by now. Instead I'm down close to 50%.
