That may be the case. Certainly the U.S. has it's hands dirty in all sorts of ventures as outlined in the article. On the other hand...one could make an argument that Hugo needs a war to justify him holding onto power after he failed to become president for life. Here is a man that patterns his utopian society on the Cuban model. It seems to me the only people that really have any success in Cuba are Fidel and his henchmen. The people have been screwed since he took power. Who knows who or what to believe anymore. All I know is if Vz ends up in a "F"ing war we can forget about the "F"ing permit (at least for the foreseeable future).
