You are correct. on the NASDAQ there are more. These guys are not legally supposed to manipulate the price but it happens all the time. It is the guys wanting in or out who hire the bashers/pumpers.

Few retail investors take time to do DD so they often rely on messgae boards and take what the read as gospel. That is why so very few retail investors ever make money in the markets.
