i dont know about the rest of you but to me my kry investment was a gamble (i dont play the lottery because i think it's a suckers bet, but i do play blackjack).....anyway, i've been thinking if kry ever pays off i'd like to do another longshot (but not with a huge amount of money,maybe $10k)....so here's my thought, get 10-20 people together (everyone puts $ in increments of $5k say) and form a treasure hunting corporation. the treasure does'nt really matter, we could buy an old mine somewhere or buy a boat and look for sunken treasure, whatever....just that everyone who buys in has the right to go look for it/dig it....we can split up what we find (in a pre-determined manner) based on the percentage of the corp you own...just a rough thought but it sounds kinda fun to me...it worked out good for mel fisher.....anyone have any good ideas? i live in florida so the boat idea is a natural here but then you have maintenance, etc.....i kinda like the mine idea myself....
