gw, that advice is'nt so "off-beat"......if you look at the "very rich" (i.e. celebs, turners, etc) you'll notice they've been buying some huge tracts of land in the new mexico, montana, wyoming, etc areas.....if you can afford it, i think it's a good safety net...not to mention that all the produce from south america tastes like crap...
