Using my pretzel logic (thanks Becker & Fagen), Maduro's manufactured victory might actually benefit us.  
Had the opposition won, I'm pretty sure that the Biden (and next) Admin would've bent over backwards to help the new VZ leadership and that could've included interfering with the CITGO sale. 
With Maduro's 'win', where's the incentive for Treasury to help VZ financially by easing sanctions, etc.?
