It seems to me that Crystallex did all the hard work taking Citgo, PDVSA and Venezuela through the courts spending millions and millions of dollars over the years. And now, here we are with the special master to decide on how to distribute the assets, all these other companies are going to benefit too.
"Dozens of companies and individuals owed by the state of Venezuela or PDVSA now have pending claims against Citgo's parent company in the U.S., PDV Holding, Inc.

"Chief among them are two PDVSA-related contracts: the oil company ConocoPhillips, owed $1.3 billion for assets seized by Chavez, and investors who hold $2 billion of defaulted PDVSA bonds, according to PDVSA. These bonds have a 50.1% security interest in the shares of Citgo Holding. Crystallex, a Toronto-based mining company, is owed $1 billion for an expropriated gold mine."
While everyone gets paid; Crystallex is footing the legal bill from the start, and won. Crystallex should be sending a bill to all these other companies for "services rendered".
Not fair that Crystallex, who pursued a brilliant suit that included the alter ego challenge, should bear the brunt of the costs for everything.
Now it's October for the Treasury's turn. All they do is sit back, do nothing, and with a 10 second stroke of a pen decide the lives of thousands of people and billions of dollars. What a crock! Whew!
