Crystallex will request suspension of agreement with Venezuela By Carlos Mendoza Baloiz January 22, 2018 The Canadian mining company Crystallex International Corporation will request the Court of Appeals of Canada to suspend the agreement made between the mining company and Petroleos de Venezuela S.A (PDVSA), presented to said institution. Crystallex signed a settlement agreement with the state oil company approved by the Canadian Court, which would grant Pdvsa enough time to comply with the agreements established in the document. The Canadian company reiterated its commitment to comply with its obligations under the agreement, once successfully implemented by Venezuela.p>
