This sounds like another face saving.

Block the criminals and their companies that you (PDVSA/VZ/Maduro) have been doing business with to

try and make it look as if you "just discovered" it. "Not me, it was them!".

The trouble is, everyone already knows Maduro's regime is corrupt.
