This is how I see it. Russia gets control of refineries in the US if

VZ defaults. The US Gov. doesn't want that so the US Gov. is

going to do all it can to prevent VZ from defaulting. (?)

 At the same time the mine is almost ready to begin operation. Purely hypo..

I suppose it is in our best interest, also, that VZ does not default.

(Not to mention the citizens).
