New Venezuela Moves Possible In $3B Crystallex Suit

Law360, New York (December 20, 2016, 11:01 PM EST) -- An attorney for a U.S. affiliate of Venezuela’s national oil company said Tuesday that a Delaware federal court cannot stop shifts of affiliate funds out of America before the resolution of disputes over a $2.8 billion fraudulent transfer claim and pending damage judgments against the firm.

The American unit, PDVH, also asked Judge Leonard P. Stark to certify a second appeal to the Third Circuit contesting the judge's refusal to fully dismiss the Delaware action earlier this year.
