Caracas, 07 Sept. AVN.- Minister for Petroleum and Mining, Asdrubal Chavez opened his account on the social network Twitter userAchavezPetroMin.
"Greetings brothers, I join networks to support them in the daily battle for truth from the oil and mining sovereignty," he wrote in his first message the minister this Sunday at 1:30 pm.
In another message, Chavez said: "We will continue reviewing and deepening our shares under the Plan of the country and the five Revolutions With Chavez and Maduro, we shall overcome".
Both messages were retweeted by the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, in hisNicolasMaduro account.
Chavez was appointed on 2 September as head of Oil and Mining by President Maduro, as part of the new phase of the Bolivarian Government.
Thus replacing Rafael Ramirez, who was appointed Foreign Minister.
The new owner of Petroleum and Mining in 2009 assumed the Vice Ministry of Petrochemicals and in 2007 was named vice president of Refining, Marketing and Supply of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).
Asdrubal Chavez is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of Los Andes, Mérida State, in 1979.
