Fact is, Venezuela has - one by one - taken down each mining company from their respective exchange(s) and making shareholders wish they never heard about mining in Venezuela. Maybe Venezuela knows the game, or maybe it is dumb luck and coincidental. Regardless, the end result indicates Venezuela is smart. Venezuela never was shy about saying they did not like shareholders benefitting off the back of Venezuela. Venezuela has succeeded in making mining companies foreign to Venezuela provide no shareholder benefit, and once revoked - shares are invalidated. Happy Days for Venezuela. Each and every one of these mining companies, regardless of ICSID, will experience a long, long road to recovery. If they ever do recover.
