The only time that I can recall that Chavez gave an implied approval was when the Cinese deal was going on and they apparently met with him and got assurance on the jv. Looks like that meeting was a lie/hopeful thinking as well. I think a lot of us assumed that some of these lower level lackies had some pull. Kry certainly thought they had the inside track by what we were fed and eventually choked on. I'm strill gagging on it.
