Crystallex International Corporation is a Canadian-based gold company with a successful record of developing and operating gold mines in Venezuela and elsewhere in South America
Hard to say what will happen.
Seems the noteholders are proposing less compensation than Tenor, for a larger loan. Better than what seems to happen more often in CCAA, where shareholders lose out completely.
Interesting that, unlike past motions, this Crystallex motion gives no actual date request for a Stay to continue their purported, "negotiations." Although motion notes, "Obtain extended stay of proceedings... .," which is somewhat refreshingly honest. Also, no proposed Compromise/Arrangement included in the company six page motion. Secrecy of any proposed Compromise/Arrangement seems pointless, if the company actually has one.
Monitor Report Eight should be interesting.
