While it does cost some money, at least with the CCAA we get an occasional crumb of information. You will NEVER get the whole story and the CCAA is a lot more flexible than you think, so don't sweat the small stuff like deadlines.

It really is all about cash, the noteholders are not really an issue anymore, we have the cash and if we cut the expenses to extend the cash that we have we will get a big payday. If not, shame on Bob "I can get financing anytime" Fung.

If he fails here, he will be the biggest joke and loser in the history of Canadian finance. All of his prior successes will pale in comparison to his final failure.

If he can deliver for the shareholders (and not just his buddies), he goes out a genius, albeit a slow and deliberate one. His legacy is on the line, so hopefully he actually cares about his reputation and still has a little ability left to get this done.
