i think most people are missing a big point when they talk about the poor and how canadian mining companies are so bad.

one guy pointed out that like Chavez and VZ, it is Bolivia that makes the rules by which the companies operate. if they want to control the resources or canada wants to do the same that is fine as long as proper compensation is paid.

theft is theft whether you call it nationalism or not.

I'm fine with VZ taking back the contract as long as they pay compensation.

I do think the Canadian government should with hold more aid to any country that steals by using nationalization.
